Reloop’s RMX-44 BT
Reloop has released a brand new Mixer. The RMX-44 BT is a four-channel mixer with Bluetooth capability. The mixer comes in at only £379, is aimed at bedroom DJs, small pubs/bars and will be useful for mobile DJs.
The four channels have the standard 3 band eq, with bi-polar sound filters on each channel. Scratch DJ can upgrade the crossfader to an Innofader as it the mixer is Innofader compatible. To keep the price down on the unit, it is missing an effects section adds in a Bluetooth option.
Bluetooth
The Bluetooth feature allows a phone, tablet or laptop to connect audio to the mixer. Although Bluetooth is not generally used in the DJ world because of the latency of the signal, this feature will be a great back up to play music in an emergency. A CDJ stopped working, A DJ switch over or a unique request at a wedding. With a press of a button, a song from Spotify can be played.
Connectivity
While the mixer is affordable, it allows a fair amount of ways to connect to it. 9 inputs (all RCAs) and 4 Outputs (3 RCAs and 1 XLR). There is also a 2-band eq microphone input with talk-over.
